The Medical Committees provide advice on and attestation of patients’ and individuals’ sick leave, medical reports and disability determination; and assist HADD with setting standards in support of the issuance of medical reports for special purposes including for sick leave, disability assessment and fitness for work. Two Medical Committees have been established by HAAD for these purposes, one located in Abu Dhabi and the other in Al Ain.
