Important Tips
Medications will not reduce how infectious a person is.
Warning! Do not give aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) to children or teenagers who have the flu; this can cause a rare but serious illness called Reye’s syndrome.
Avoid taking over-the-counter medications unless prescribed by physician. Check with your health care provider or Health Authority – Abu Dhabi, Poison and Drug Information Center at 800424.
