  The Health Authority - Abu Dhabi (HAAD) launched a new service aiming at the automation of the services provided to the public and partners in both institutions and professionals in the field of health services.

 The Health Authority - Abu Dhabi (HAAD) launched a new service aiming at the automation of the services provided to the public and partners in both institutions and professionals in the field of health services.

The Authority started the service Short Message Services (SMS) to communicate with stakeholders, especially those dealing with the Licensing and Inspection Departments, in addition to the circulars for any actions or policies issued by the health sector in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

•  Engineer Zaid Al Siksek, CEO of HAAD said, that this new step comes in line with  the services already introduced by the Authority such as  online  applications by health care professionals or health facilities  for licensing through HAAD  website , in addition to a number of special services such as registration for Master's and doctoral programs sponsored by the Authority in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins University of America, and new policies as well as the activities of the various HAAD Sectors.
Eng. Siksek added that the strategy of HAAD aims to facilitate and speed up procedures and reduce paperwork and the alleviation of personal visits to the outlets (Counters) of the Authority.

•  For his part, Dr. Ali Obaid Al Ali, Director, Health Regulation, HAAD,, said the implementation of this new service aims at achieving the objectives of the declared strategies and improving the functioning and organization of work to satisfy users of the services.
“The Authority will continue to provide more services that will entrench a transparent and smooth relationship between HAAD and health sector, professionals and facilities”, added Dr. Al Ali.

• Adib Al-Zaabi, Manger Facility Licensing Department in HAAD, said the new service helps organizations and professionals to avoid any financial liability or penalty decisions that may result of the delay in completing the renewal of the license or implement the requirements of the Department of Inspection in HAAD.

• Rodha Qubaisi, Head of Information Technology Section in HAAD noted that the SMS includes several topics such as: 

-- Expiration date of your installations licensing ((is to be sent one month before the expiry date of the license.

-- License expiry notice,( to be sent at the time of expiry”

-- Receipt of inspection reports "Please visit the Health Authority to receive the inspection report"

-- Expiry of the initial authorization "Please note that the validity of the initial license had expired"

-- Issuing new mainstream ", please refer to the new circular posted on the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi web site".
