Guidelines for the HealthCare Sector

DoH has developed guidelines for the Healthcare sector following review of best practice and consultation with expert practitioners in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The purpose of the guidelines is to assist healthcare professionals to make informed decisions on the delivery of healthcare interventions. The guidelines are not exhaustive or mandatory and therefore should not be used to override the responsibility that healthcare professionals have toward their patients. Recommendations set out within the guidelines provide information on how healthcare professionals can improve service delivery, quality, patient safety and patient outcomes.
