This platform is represented by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, along with Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), the National Health Insurance Company (Daman) and Mubadala Healthcare.

Abu Dhabi – January 15, 2018: The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, today announced its elimination of physical visits to DoH Customer Service Centers, from the healthcare licensing and credentials verification process. This update is effective January 16, 2018.

Abu Dhabi – January 10, 2018:  The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, announced that the early detection of cervical cancer campaign has succeeded in raising awareness on the importance of regular screenings to detect and prevent cervical cancer. This resulted in a significant decrease in late-stage diagnosis of cervical cancer rate from 30.3% in 2012 to 14.8% in 2015. DoH also announced that the vaccination against cervical cancer, which is currently being administered through schools across the Emirate, has seen a high participation rate of 93%.

Abu Dhabi – January 07, 2017:The Department of Health (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, has announced the optimisation of the Healthcare Provider Public Map for smartphones and tablets. DoH’s decision to adapt this mapping tool to small screen devices directly facilitates public access to healthcare services, increasing the availability of relevant information to anyone with a mobile device and internet connection.
