DoH Eliminates Physical Visits to Customer Service Centers from Healthcare Licensing Process

Abu Dhabi – January 15, 2018: The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, today announced its elimination of physical visits to DoH Customer Service Centers, from the healthcare licensing and credentials verification process. This update is effective January 16, 2018.

This latest update comes as part of the DoH’s continuous efforts to enhance and facilitate its services and procedures for the benefit of all of its clients— with an aim to decrease the time and effort involved in legal paperwork. Thus, medical and health professionals looking to obtain their DoH healthcare license, no longer need to visit a physical DoH Customer Service Center to verify their documents, or for any other reason during the licensing process— and can complete all dataflow and licensing procedures via the DoH website, at the following link http://corp.dataflowgroup.com .

For assistance with any challenges or difficulties related to the system or if there is any inquiries regarding the required documents, the Department of Health is directing all clients to call 04-3654477. Additionally, clients can log any of their DoH service complaints by getting in touch with the Abu Dhabi Government Contact Centre at 800555.

According to DoH statistics, the number of licensed healthcare professionals operating in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in 2016 was 46,794. This figure saw a 16.1% average annual increase since 2010.
