There are different types of treatment for patients with breast cancer.
Ductal carcinoma in Situ (DCIS): breast conserving surgery with/ without radiation or with/without drugs.
Lobular Carcinoma In Situ (LCIS): observation (regular mammograms to find any early changes), may include drugs to reduce the risk of developing cancer.
Stage I, Stage II, Stage IIIA, and Operable Stage IIIC Breast Cancer: is usually surgical and may include radiotherapy, with adjuvant chemotherapy.
Stage IIIB, Inoperable Stage IIIC, Stage IV, and Metastatic Breast Cancer: usually includes surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
